DRESS CODE:

Students can have either tights, black jazz pants or black shorts with tights underneath.
The Laurel School of Dance has dance wear and shoes for those who would like to purchase them from us.
Students must have the proper shoes for each class.
Their names must be in their shoes.
All long hair must be tied back off their neck.
No gum allowed in class.
Male Dancers should wear jazz pants or sweatpants, a comfortable t-shirt, and the proper dance shoes.
- We will still be doing a drop off /pick up only for all classes except Twinkle Star class.
- We have a new entrance for our newly remodeled waiting area. Please use the south door with the dancer on it to come into the waiting area.
- We will be following the CDC guidelines and that fully vaccinated people no longer need to wear a mask in the studio. We will still maintain the use of hand sanitizer before and after each class for all dancers and we will still be cleaning the studio after each class.
- I ask that if your dancer feels ill that they do NOT come to dance that week.
- I will leave the decision up to the parents of whether or not your dancer wears a mask while taking class.
- All classes still have a limit of up to 12 dancers per class so we can still maintain social distancing.
- For dancers 5 and under only 1 parent per dancer and NO SIBLINGS are allowed in the waiting room. You are expected to follow the social distancing rules if you are going to wait for your Twinkle Star dancer in the waiting room.
- Dancers will enter through the front door, go straight to the hand sanitizing station and use the hand sanitizer. Then wait for your class to star and are expected to practice your social distancing rules. You will then enter the classroom & take class. If your child has back to back classes, they will stay inside the dance studio for their next class.
- Parents either pick your child up by the front door or tell them where you are parked and please be on time to pick your child up from dance
- (If anyone in your house or any family members exhibit any signs or have had Covid-19 you must let us know immediately.
- Please do not come early to class, dancers will be allowed in the waiting room only 5 minutes before their class is scheduled.
- Bring your own water bottle. There will be no water or vending.
- You will bring your dance bag/shoes into the studio. You will have your own space in the dance room to place your stuff down. Please do not bring anything extra into the studio.
- Because the student is holding a very valuable spot in our class, there will be NO REFUNDS. If a student is injured, please contact Miss Lauri if you have a specific situation.
- If the government mandates a shutdown for my business, there will be NO REFUNDS. Also, if the government mandates the shutdown for any competitions that we go to, there are NO REFUNDS once I send the money in.
- Remember that we are considered "fitness" and not a school. So if the schools shut down we will remain open unless the government mandates a stay at home order.
- Remember that your tuition is based on 35 weeks of dance and it doesn’t matter how many weeks there are in a month your tuition reminds the same.
- There are NO makeup classes for weather cancellations or for them missing a class.
- NO SMOKING is allowed in and around the outside of the building. If you must smoke, please go to your car.
- Weather Cancellations will be announced by 3pm that day. Notifications of weather cancellations will be texted to you, posted on the website on our Face book and Instagram pages.
- Staying Informed: We work hard to make the dance experience organized and fun. Keeping you informed is one of our primary goals. Please read all newsletters and other school information.
- If your contact information has changed please go to your parent portal and update your information.
