Tap also strengthens coordination and helps those students who show interest in musical theatre.

All tap classes are hour in length and any child at any age can start in a tap class.

Meet Miss Lauri's Company

The Laurel School of Dance has a dance company which is strictly by invitation only.

The company performs at numerous functions in the community as well as competes in an area competition.  They also get the opportunity to travel to Chicago and New York City for master classes.

The company performs Ballet, Lyrical, Jazz, Hip/hop, and tap routines.

They are a crowd favorite at our annual dance recital.

Students who are interested in being in the dance company some day should focus on taking as many classes as possible.  Then, when student's talents mature, Miss Lauri will make a decision of whether or not they are invited to join the company.
